LINCC Aleph Version 17 Client Information

Update: On July 31, 2006, CCLA successfully upgraded LINCC’s foundation library management (LMS) software to Aleph version 17. Library staff are reminded that help sheets for specific LINCC activities, along with instructional manuals on LINCC modules (used during regional LINCC training) are available from CCLA's Library Staff Resources page.


LINCC Practice Client
Once library staff have completed instructor-led training, they can practice using the new software on their local workstations. Download, installation and use of the LINCC Practice Client will be covered during all instructor-led training sessions.

LINCC Production Client
LINCC Aleph v.17 must be installed on all staff workstations that operate LINCC's library management system. The Aleph software client may be downloaded using FTP as described in the following instructions.

Once Aleph v.17 has been installed, libraries may work with their local Applications Contact to uninstall earlier versions of the LINCC client software.
